The solution was to build a signup form for the customers as well as giving them the ability to view the past invoices via a username and password issued during signup. The customer's credit card details are taken and verified at the end of the initial signup process. Once ADSL was installed for the customer, the system would then begin billing each month using the card details stored earlier. The staff were able to see an overview of which accounts had unpaid bills as well as the weekly and monthly incomings from their ADSL customers. Some of the challenges faced were ensuring PCI compliance, which was achieved.
