What they needed / what we provided:

• Our first assignment was to consolidate employee training records from multiple sites/databases into a single, centrally stored application.
• The application would run on a secure socket layer and protected via a username and password and firewall.
• Permissions were set in place so that individuals could only see the appropriate amount of data (i.e. only employees within their company), but with some group users seeing the whole picture.
• Our solution enabled the group and individual operating companies to run reports for their employees saving many man days.
• Over the years, WEBIT has built a multitude of applications for RG Carter. We undertook the task of moving more of their databases to an online, centralised solution. We have now developed over 12 applications running on the same platform, all accessed via a secure portal.
